August 2010 - Training and workshop on Rapid Climate Change Risk and Adaptation Assessment at Champhone District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR
The training focused on background of climate change, understanding climate scenarios, using data from climate scenario to assess risk and adaptation to climate change.

Detail : The training was organized by Water Resources and Environment Research Institute (WERI) of the Water Resources & Environment Administration (WREA) under the frame of Mekong River Commission’s Climate Change and Adaptation Initiative (CCAI), Lao PDR pilot project. SEA START RC conducted training for government officials and local government extension unit from the pilot site in Savannakhet Province, which focused on background of climate change, understanding climate scenarios, using data from climate scenario to assess risk and adaptation to climate change.
