SEA START RC conducted training for National Environment Commission, Bhutan, on how to use a regional climate model to generate high resolution future climate projections as potential climate change scenarios.

Place : Thimphu, Bhutan.
Detail : SEA START RC conducted training for National Environment Commission, Bhutan, on how to use a regional climate model (the PRECIS from Hadley Centre, The Met Office, UK) to generate high resolution future climate projections as potential climate change scenarios. The future climate projection data will be used to determine climate change impacts, risks, vulnerabilities and adaptation assessments.
A workshop was held with various agencies in Bhutan to form common understanding on fundamental of climate change adaptation planning and approaches in climate change impact, risk and vulnerability assessment, based on scenario-based assessment.
